While Julian is an adult. His mother has an important position within the school board, forming and educating children. If her son is an example of how she believes children should be educated, then we must really question who is being put in charge of the education system. Not only is her son a product of her child rearing. Even though he is an adult, she refused to even have a conversation to try to help in solving the problems caused by her offspring, when it is very much within her reach to intervene, and help solve. She has tremendous influence over her son. She is nothing more than am enabler. She has promoted his behavior and defended him, causing him to be irresponsible and not accountable for his actions.
